Room for 20 at Lake Wales CC, replaced Cypresswood.
Lake Wales CC overseeded this year, the fairways are green again and the greens nice. This is going to be a fine course again. We want it on our schedule. Plans include keeping 13 Lake Wales CC holes and combining them with 5 Oakwood holes to make one course. They are almost adjacent.There will be at least 1000 new condos built on the holes abandoned. The Lake Wales City council will approve the plan soon. Ron learned of it from their bridge club folks and it's true per the course with he visited to view on the way back from Sebring. 42 minutes away by several routes, 24 miles.
